Linux video player, see many web pages are recommended MPlayer, so they installed a test. The installation process is documented below.
1. Installing the Decoder
The decoder includes: all-20110131.tar.bz2:http://www.mplayerhq.hu/mplayer/releases/codecs/all-20110131.tar.bz2
Windows-all-20071007.zip:http://www.mplayerhq.hu/mplayer/releases/codecs/windows-all-20071007.zip
After downloading to both decoders, unzip, Tar xvf all-20110131.tar.bz2 unzip Windows-all-20071007.zip
Then create the decoder directory: Mkdir/usr/local/lib64/codecs
Finally, copy the decoder to the new directory
MV all-20110131/*/usr/local/lib64/codecs/
MV windows-all-20071007/*/usr/local/lib64/codecs
2, MPlayer source download and compile
MPlayer Source: Ftp://ftp.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/MPlayer-1.3.0.tar.xz
Download file name: MPLAYER-1.3.0.TAR.XZ
Unzip file: Tar xvf mplayer-1.3.0.tar.xz
Execute the following command to compile:
CD MPlayer-1.3.0
./configure--codecsdir=/usr/local/lib64/codecs
There was an error in this step, and the first error was "Yasm not found"
Workaround: Download yasm and install, yasm:http://www.tortall.net/projects/yasm/releases/yasm-1.2.0.tar.gz
Ysam Installation steps:
Decompression: Tar xvf yasm-1.2.0.tar.gz
CD yasm-1.2.0
./configure
Make
Make install
A second error, the GUI requires X11
Workaround:yum install libx11-devel libX11
Yum Install Gtk2-devel
After resolving these two errors, the installation process is quite smooth
./configure--enable-gui
3. Install the Skin
I downloaded the skin: clearlooks-1.7.tar.bz2:ftp://ftp.mplayerhq.hu/mplayer/skins/clearlooks-1.7.tar.bz2
Copy data to directory after decompression: The/usr/local/share/mplayer/skins/default,default directory needs to be created by itself.
4. Install fonts
The author directly copies the system font to the "/usr/local/share/mplayer" directory, and changes the file name to Subfont.ttf
Now that the installation is successful, you can create a desktop shortcut from the desktop by creating a new launcher.
If you run no sound after installation, you need to install a few more packages, the installation command is as follows:
Yum Install-y *alsa*
I use the desktop shortcut to start MPlayer and then play the movie will be Kaka, but using the MPlayer command to run the word is very normal. Figures:
