(If you want to go under the original operating system)

bash-4.1# cd/mnt/sysimage/(under directory)

(If you want to change the root password as the following command)

bash-4.1# chroot/mnt/sysimage/

sh-4.1# passwd

(after successful modification)

You can see the files in the original Linux system.

Exit exit

Will come back to bash-4.1# under the direct reboot restart on it.
