Smbd is a Samba server program. It can share files, printers, and other network resources for Windows-related client programs to access.
Syntax
Smbd [-aDhoP] [-d <troubleshooting level>] [-I <range>] [-l <Record File>] [-O <connection slot option>] [-p <connection port number>] [-s <Configuration File>]
Parameter description:
- -All connection records of a are added to the record file.
- -D <troubleshooting level> specifies the event details recorded in the record file.
- -D when this parameter is used, smbd runs in the background as a service program.
- -H: displays help.
- -I <range> specifies the range of NetBIOS names.
- -L <Record File> specifies the name of the record file.
- -O overwrites the original record files at each startup.
- -O <connection slot Options> set connection slot options.
- -P <connection port number> sets the connection port number.
- -P is only used to test the correctness of the smbd program.
- -S <Configuration File> specifies the smbd setting file.
