Overview
The W command –> to view the information of the logged-in person and their behavior. parameter -H does not display a caption. -U ignores user name when listing current process and CPU time. This is primarily the case after the SU command is executed. -S uses short mode. Does not display logon hours, JCPU (terminal stage jobs), and PCPU (program consumption) time. -F Toggles the display of the from item, which is the remote host name entry. The default value is to not display the remote host name-v display version information. Use
User: Logon username
TTY: System-assigned terminal number after login
From: remote host name, where to log in
login@: When to log in
IDLE: User idle time. This is a timer, and once the user performs any action, the timer is reset.
JCPU: Time occupied by all processes connected to the terminal. Include the current running background job occupancy time
PCPU: Elapsed time for the current process
