Linux non-root user start desktop

Source: Internet
Author: User

At some point, the boot level is the command line, but sometimes you need a desktop environment, but you need to use root permissions, very inconvenient.

Workaround:

Create a new. xinitrc file in a normal user's home directory,

# VI. XINITRC

The contents are as follows:

Export Lc_all= "ZH_CN. UTF-8 "Export [email protected]=scimexport gtk_im_module=" SCIM "eval ' dbus-launch--exit-with-session--sh-syntax ' exec Gnome-session

. XINITRC is the user profile that X starts to read, so that each user startx the gnome directly after it is loaded.
