In the most popular Redhatlinux 9.0, there are two graphical desktops of GNOME and KDE. There are two different file managers in the two desktop systems: Nautilus in Gnome (Nautilus) and KDE Konqueror, each with a number of practical features.
In fact, no matter which desktop you log on, you can use the two file managers at the same time, the method is simple: Open the File Manager Konqueror in KDE, find the/usr/bin/directory, drag the Nautilus file directly onto the taskbar, and create a new icon for it in the pop-up dialog box. You can run the Nautilus File Manager as soon as you click the icon. Similarly, in GNOME, locate the Konqueror file in the same directory, and then do the same.
One small problem, however, is that if you use a different font or a Nautilus default font in two desktop systems, the font and system settings are not the same when you run the file Manager in KDE. You can find the Gnome-font-properties file in the/usr/bin/directory, run it, and then select the font you want. And if it's on the GNOME desktop, open the Konqueror file Manager, locate the Kcontrol file in the/usr/bin directory, and when you do it, locate the font settings in the Konqueror File Manager font settings.
