Server:
1. Install vnc4server
To avoid strange bugs, log out of the account after installation (although I log on to the account, I can remotely control it)
Client:
1.10.04 open the Internet Remote Desktop viewer in the upper left corner. In version 12.04, search for Remote Desktop and find the corresponding program called remmina.
2. Install putty SSH client
3. Open putty. My website is Intranet. Enter 192.168.0.3 (Server IP address) and select SSH link.
4. Enter the account, and then enter the vnc4server command (Note: I have tried to directly enter vnc4server in the server gui. As a result, the client cannot open the GUI twice, so it is best to use Putty to open the Service)
5. Open remotedesktop, enter 192.168.0.3: 5901, and port 5901 is the default vnc4server. If you enter vncserver several times, this value will increase progressively. The specific information is displayed on the corresponding server. You will see a line like this: New "Administrator: 1" desktop is administrator: 1. Administrator is your server name. 1 corresponds to 5901. If 3 is displayed, It is 5903.
6. After Entering the interface, you will see VNC config. You can check the three options. If you do not see VNC config, you can use Alt + TAB to call it out. If not, Baidu.
So far.
I suddenly encountered VNC authentication is required when I started the instance today.
It seems that you do not need a password before, or you have forgotten it, so you can reinstall vnc4server and remember to delete it ~ /. VNC directory, because it retains the last configuration information. After reinstalling the directory, remember to enter the password. Do not leave it blank and reconfigure it.
