Linux scipy Installation __linux

In some cases, Linux lacks some of the scipy base packages, such as Lapack/blas. It's a hassle to find a tutorial on the web, and after a while toss it, locate the simple command line.


Just a few commands to complete:


sudo apt-get install Libblas-dev
sudo apt-get install Liblapack-dev
sudo apt-get install Gfortran
sudo apt-get install python-scipy
Easy to handle.




On Fedora:
Yum install lapack lapack-devel Blas Blas-devel
Pip Install NumPy
Pip Install scipy

Remember to install ' lapack-devel ' and ' blas-devel ', addition to ' Blas ' and ' lapack ' otherwise your ' ll get the error Mentioned or the "Numpy.distutils.system_info. Lapacknotfounderror "error.

I do not know why to 6.1.1, Redhat.

sudo easy_install pip==6.1.1
