Cornd is the daemon for scheduled Tasks This service system is started by default

[[Email Protected]/]#/etc/init.d/crond strat|restart|stop

[[Email protected]/] #chkconfig Crond on

Command Description:

[[Email protected]/] #crontab [options] ( This command reads the inside configuration every minute, so our configuration is not accurate to seconds )

Option:-E: Edit crontab Timer task-L: Query crontab task-r: Delete all crontab tasks for current user

We edit the timed command CRONTAB-E//will enter a default file with vim same as we write standard commands within the same as/etc/rc.local but the only difference is the previous 5 time settings * * * * * commend

Description: 1. Minutes (1-59) 2. (1-23) 3. Days (1-31) 4. Month (1-12) 5. Day of the week (1-7 of which 0 and 7 represent Sunday)
