Today, the following error occurred while tossing Debian.
When you typically use Apt-get for install or update of your software, you may receive the following message:
E:could not get Lock/var/lib/dpkg/lock-open (one Resource temporarily unavailable)
E:unable to lock-administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?
Problem reason
The lock is not available because there are other programs running. The reason may be that the update was last run or the installation did not complete properly. The solution is to kill the process.
Solution
The solution is simple. Kill the process.
View status First
Ps-e | grep apt
If a run is found, execute the following command directly
Killall Apt
Killall Apt-get
Killall synaptic
Try using Apt-get again after execution, if still not. We'll just delete it.
Rm/var/cache/apt/archives/lock
Rm/var/lib/dpkg/lock
This will not be the problem.
