How the Linux system records GIF pictures
My system is ubuntu16.04lts.
The recording screen software is Byzanz
The software has a graphical interface on the GNOME desktop system, and I use the Unity Interface System, which can only be manipulated by the command line.
installation command:
sudo apt-get install Byzanz
Other tutorials on the Web have longer installation commands, which I can install on Ubuntu 16.04 with this command
Recording command:
byzanz-record-d 10-x 20-y 50-w 400-h
which
-D 10 Recording time is 10 seconds, default is 10 seconds
x 20 The horizontal axis of the recording area
Y 50 The ordinate of the recording area
-W 400 width of recording area
-H 300 height of recording area
My_gif.gif the file name after recording
By default, the mouse pointer is recorded in the recording
The upper-left corner is the coordinate origin of the recording area
Additional detailed parameters can be entered in the following command to view
Byzanz-record--help
After recording the file in the home folder, you can open file >> computer >> home >> Current user, my is "WU", you can see
You can double-click to open it
