Users usually perform full-disk scanning during system security detection, but they do not know that full-disk scanning is a waste of time and virtually shortens the hard drive life. The new method described below only needs to scan a folder to scan the entire folder!
After fighting against the virus for a long time, we will gradually summarize some of the most favorite locations of the virus, such:
C:
C: Documents and SettingsAdministratorLocal SettingsTemporary Internet Files
C: WINDOWS
C: WINDOWSTemp
C: WINDOWSSYSTEM32
C: System Volume Information.
To sum up, we can see that there are only three types of virus-loving places: Temporary folders, system folders, and restored folders. Therefore, if you feel that your computer is not poisoned and you are just a little worried, you only need to perform the following steps to detect the virus:
1. Clear IE temporary files and system temporary files, and use 360 "Clear usage traces" to complete the process;
2. Disable System Restore by right-clicking my computer -- properties -- System Restore -- turning off System Restore on all drives to delete the restored file;
3. Scan the small files and windows folders on drive C to scan the virus. In this way, you can detect and kill all the viruses that currently pose a threat to the system without using a full scan that wastes time.
If the time is too short, you may try the above method. Generally, we can use the principle of Alternate full-disk scan and key-area scan.
