1. Monitoring Linux system needs to turn on the RSTATD and xinetd two services to see if the system is configured RSTATD, xinetd daemon:
Input command: rpcinfo-p view RSTATD Service
Input command: rpm-q xinetd view xinetd Service

2. Monitoring Linux system requires installation to download 4 Service packs:
(1) rpc.rstatd-4.0.1.tar.gz
(2) rsh-0.17-14.i386.rpm
(3) rsh-server-0.17-14.i386.rpm
(4) xinetd-2.3.14-10.el5.i386.rpm
Enter command: Cd/usr/mkdir HXM Create folder, copy 4 files to Hxm folder via shared folder F disk.

3. Installing the RPC.RSTATD service
TAR-XZVF rpc.rstatd-4.0.1.tar.gz-Decompression
CD rpc.rstatd-4.0.1/-into the RPC folder
./configure-Configuration Actions
make-to compile
Make install-start installation
rpc.rstatd-starting the RSTATD process
 
4. Start the RSTATD service process
input command: Rpcinfo-p can see that the RSTATD service has been started
5. Decompression and installation of RSH and Rsh-server services
input command: RPM–IVH rsh-0.17-14.i386.rpm RSH-SERVER-0.17-14.I386.RPM
6. View rsh and rsh-server Services
Input command: rpm-q rsh/rpm-q rsh-server
7. Unpacking and installing XINETD services
Input command: RPM-IVH xinetd-2.3.14-10.el5.i386.rpm 
8. View xinetd Services
Input command: rpm-q xinetd

9. Modify the Rlogin, rsh, rexec configuration files under/etc/xinetd.d
Input command: CD/ETC/XINETD.D
Input command: VI rlogin/rsh/rexec Open Three configuration files, modify disable = yes disable = no
Input command: Press the INSERT key to enter the modified state, first press ESC and then enter: Wq Save
10. Start the XINETD service
Input command: Service xinetd restart or cd/etc/init.d/xinetd restart

Four, LR monitoring Linux system resource method problems

1. The information is not visible from LoadRunner after installation, but there is no error?
A: It may be that the returned information value is small, so it is almost invisible in the diagram, for example: If the program is not running, the CPU usage is close to 0, so there is no change in the monitor diagram. It is also possible that the sampling frequency is too large, can be set in the chart 1 seconds to obtain information, so that the interface is refreshed more timely.

2. Monitoring Linux windows with LRR is successful, but the information is not monitored again?
A: It is possible that the RSTATD daemon was not opened because of a system reboot. Manually enter the command "RPC.RSTATD" to restart the service, enter the "rpcinfo-p" command to see if the current system has started the rstatd daemon.

3. Monitoring Linux windows with LR, often lost?
Answer: This is a graphical display time setting problem, with LR stability is not OK, the specific settings are as follows:
1. Running the controller
2. In the "Unix Resources" graphics window, right-click and select the Configure option
3. The Graph Configuration window appears with an option of graph time (sec), which is 60 seconds by default and 600 seconds

4.Monitor Name:unix Resources. Cannot initialize the monitoring on 10.10.15.62.
Error while creating the RPC client. Ensure that the machine can is connected and that it runs the Rstat daemon (use Rpcinfo utility for this verification).
