According to the Strategic Cooperation Agreement signed between meizu technology and Canonical, it is expected that the meizu MX series mobile phone with Ubuntu operating system will be released in first quarter of 2015 and will be sold through various channels in the European and Chinese mainland markets.
At the MWC exhibition in Barcelona in 2014, the two sides showed the MX3 prototype based on the Ubuntu system, which was well received by the industry.
