MongoDB for Linux (installation)

1. inject public GPG key

Sudo apt-key adv -- keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com -- Recv 7f0ceb10

2. Add the following command to ETC/APT/source. List:

DebHttp://downloads-distro.mongodb.org/repo/ubuntu-upstartDist10gen

3. Update Source

Sudo apt-Get update

4. Install MongoDB

Sudo apt-Get install mongodb-10gen

5. Configure MongoDB (configure MongoDB)

Configuration File: ETC/MongoDB. conf

You can see that the database files are stored in/var/lib/MongoDB, and the log files are stored in/var/log/MongoDB. You can configure the files according to the actual situation.

 

6. Start and Stop the service

Sudo service MongoDB start
Sudo service MongoDB stop
Sudo service MongoDB restart

7. Use MongoDB

On the premise of enabling the Service, enter Mongo on the terminal to enter MongoDB.

Connected to the test database by default

Perform the following operations:

DB. Test. Save ({"A": 1 })

DB. Test. Find ()
