Recently in the study of MongoDB, my machine is 32-bit Windows 7 Home Basic, search related data is seen
32-bit machines are limited by address space, so the maximum data space for a single instance is only 2gb,64 (128T), so it is recommended to use a 64-bit machine deployment
This is also described in the official documentation.
MongoDB is a server process, which runs on Linux, Windows and OS x. It can be run both as a or 64-bit application. We recommend running in 64-bit mode, since MongoDB are limited to a total data size of about 2GB for all databases in 32-bi T mode.

MongoDB Windows 32-bit runs the 32-bit version of Windows, windows XP. The 32-bit version of MongoDB is only used for legacy systems and for testing and development systems
excerpted from http://docs.mongoing.com/manual-zh/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-windows.html
So although the official 32-bit installation package, but by the 32-bit system itself, the limit of the address space, MongoDB Single instance maximum data space is only 2GB, it is not recommended to use a 32-bit system in the production environment, even in the test development environment in a large amount of data testing, This 2GB limit can also cause a lot of trouble for developers.
