I (liigo) Three years ago (2005.12) Java exercise, the "mine" game has been running on today's M8 mobile phone, directly:
Several conclusions:
1. There is no physical keyboard on M8, And the JVM does not have a virtual keyboard. The M8 touch screen is also invalid and cannot be operated :(;
2. The text display is very small (it is definitely a fly case, maybe the M8 resolution is really high, 720x480), and Chinese characters cannot be displayed (Chinese characters are displayed blank );
Iii. I (liigo) Don't worry about JVM, because a Java Virtual Machine dedicated to migration to M8 will appear recently.
I am installing this JVM now, from http://www.cs.kuleuven.be /~ Davy/phoneme/, is the phoneme wince compiled version (but not specifically for the M8 version), I downloaded this, http://www.cs.kuleuven.be /~ Davy/phoneme/public/Dist/MIDP-phoneme_feature_mr3-win32_arm_wce50-bin-rev17059.cab. It's just a little fun.
