Attention:

MYSQL uses snapshot isolation, which means that a connection can be queried when it is modified.

Example:

CREATE TABLE T1 (X int);

Insert into T1 (X) values (100);

Connect A,

Start transaction;
Update T1
Set X = 200;

Connection B,

Select X from T1; ------Return 100

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------

The same thing is not the same in SQL Server, SQL Server will require connection B wait;

Summarize:

Snapshot isolation can provide greater concurrency, but the data is not "up-to-date".
