MySQL Installation Employees DB

The steps are as follows:

First, download

Address: https://launchpad.net/test-db/employees-db-1/1.0.6

Second, decompression

Unzip the downloaded files and store them in any directory, but for convenience, it is recommended to place them in a shorter path, and mine is placed in: E:\employees_db

Third, modify the contents of the import file

Using WordPad, open the contents of the Employees.sql in the previous folder, starting with the 38th line as follows:

   Set storage_engine = innodb;--Set storage_engine = myisam;--Set storage_engine = falcon;--Set storage_engine = PBXT;-- Set storage_engine = Maria;select CONCAT (' Storage Engine: ', @ @storage_engine) as INFO;

Modify the following method to comment out the above 2 places without comments

--Set storage_engine = innodb;--Set storage_engine = myisam;--Set storage_engine = falcon;--set storage_engine = PBXT; --Set storage_engine = maria;--Select CONCAT (' Storage Engine: ', @ @storage_engine) as INFO;

Also change one place

Change all of the above paths to local full path

Iv. entering MySQL via cmd

Perform the installation action

SOURCE plus the full path where Employees.sql is located

After installation, you can find

There are 6 associations in the database, and the recorded data is the payroll for all employees in 9 departments of a company, including turnover employees, and the following is a diagram.
