The following steps describe how to change the NetBackup7.7 version of master server from Oldmaster to Newmaster.
1. Stop the NetBackup process
2. Backup/usr/openv for fallback.
3. Determine the correctness of the new host name
# Bpclntcmd-is_local_host Newmaster
Newmaster is a local host4. Modify Bp.conf, vm.conf
5. Start the EMM process
# Nbdbms_start_stop Start
#/USR/OPENV/NETBACKUP/BIN/NBEMM
# Bpps
