We have installed the Oracle 6.1 version of RAC for the client. The SERVER side has no problem. The customer's application is based on the Oracle 10g client. The client is divided into two platforms, one of which is LINUX, the other is AIX. Both the LINUX and AIX platforms are installed on the 10.2.0.1 client. It is no problem for the LINUX platform to connect to the SERVER database through the client ,, when you connect to the SERVER database through the client on the AIX platform, the following error is reported in the database background:

The query was originally caused by the client version. The RAC database of 11.2.0.3 can only support clients of 10.2.0.2 or later through support.oracle.com, this does not mean that clients lower than 10.2.0.2 do not support it, but that clients lower than 10.2.0.2 may have various strange bugs. Based on this, the client is successfully resolved after being upgraded to 10.2.0.4.
