ORA-00988: Password missing or invalid [Oracle 10g will have an error]

Creating a user on my computer today turned out to be wrong, which left me depressed. [The statement is as follows]

SQL> create user zkj identified by 123;
Create user zkj identified by 123.
*
Row 3 has an error:
ORA-00988: Password missing or invalid

I remember this error was not reported when I used Oracle 11G.

When I change it to this one

SQL> create user zkj identified by "123 ";

Instead, I can't think about it .. Finally, I searched for a long time. This may be due to a low version of the oracle database.

Remember: when setting the password for the database instance, be sure not to start with a number, otherwise you will encounter a ORA-00988 missing or invalid password (password missing or invalid) error.
