Briefly describe the process of adding a node in the Oracle 10203 for Solaris SPARC Dual-node environment. Shared storage is already configured on a third node, which focuses on the configuration on the operating system and on Oracle.
This article describes the preparation process.
The first is to adjust the IP address of the host to the RAC server IP address for easy management. Modify the destination host IP address to 172.25.198.226.
# ifconfig CE0 172.25.198.226 netmask 255.255.0.0 broadcast 172.25.255.255
Then modify the IP address in the/etc/hosts file.
The host name is also modified to the supporting hostname information RACNODE3:
# hostname
Supingsol
# hostname Racnode3
After using hostname to set the hostname, you also need to modify the/etc/hosts,/ect/nodename,/etc/hostname.ce0,/etc/net/ticlts/hosts,/etc/net/ticots/hosts, /etc/net/ticotsord/hosts these 6 files:

Add user and group information below to create users and groups on the current node based on the group information and user information of the RAC node:
# groupadd-g Oinstall
# Groupadd-g DBA
# mkdir/export/home/oracle
# useradd-u 100-g oinstall-g dba-d/export/home/oracle Oracle
# chown Oracle:oinstall/export/home/oracle
# Mkdir/data
# Chown-r Oracle:oinstall/data
# ID Nobody
uid=60001 (nobody) gid=60001 (nobody)
# passwd Oracle
Log in with an Oracle user to set the environment variable:
