Data files:

1. Each data file is associated with only one database
2. A table space can contain one or more data files
3. A data file can belong to only one table space
4. Data files are data that is used to store Chinese in a database

Log file:

1. Redo log files: Used to log changes to the database, the user's transaction log when a routine or media recovery requires redo log files If there is no redo log file, the only way to recover is to recover from the last full backup
2. Archive log files: All redo history can be preserved
