Before importing and exporting data, it is customary to check to see if our own machine can connect to a remote Oracle host, and the detection method is tnsping service_name. My machine is as follows:
c:\users\zx>tnsping ORCL
Host: lenovo-pc, service name: ORCL
The above operation is ping yourself, below we ping the remote host. How to use: Tnsping Ip/service_name, as follows:
10.120. 56.203/ORCL
Host and service names are marked by a red box
Importing data remotely
Syntax format: Imp username/[email protected]/service_name file= path \xxx.dmp full=y
C:\users\zx>imp Iotmon/[email protected]10.120. 56.203 file=c:\users\zx\documents\backup150723\iotmon.dmp full=y
View remote hosts, all imported, such as:

Syntax format: Exp username/[email protected]/service_name owner=username file= path/xxx.dmp (owner option can be omitted)
