When you run the program today, enter the SQL statement in Oracle: SELECT * from USERS as U, program complains



Input SELECT * from USERS u can query the results normally.

But there's nothing wrong with typing ' select * from USERS as U ' in SQL Server 2005, for the following reasons: The SQL2 specification allows the keyword as to appear between the name of the table and the alias of the table. Although this makes the FROM clause easier to read, it may not be supported in a particular SQL product.

I don't think Oracle supports such a syntax.
