OS authentication
1. In Sqlnet.ora (located in the $oracle_home/network/admin directory) file, use VI Edit to comment out the #sqlnet. Authentication_services = (NONE) the row.
2. Check whether the current OS user belongs to the DBA group.
3. Execute the sqlplus/as SYSDBA login database.
Password file authentication
1. In Sqlnet.ora (located in the $oracle_home/network/admin directory) file, use VI Edit, modify to sqlnet. Authentication_services = (none), if not, add the row.
2. Set the SPFile or Pfile remote_login_passwordfile = EXCLUSIVE, orremote_login_passwordfile = SHARED
ALTER SYSTEM SET Remote_login_passwordfile = EXCLUSIVE SCOPE = SPFILE ;

3. Create a password file using Orapwd
orapwd file= ' $ORACLE _home/dbs/orapw$oracle_sid ' password=pwd entries=10 force=y
4. Perform sqlplus sys/pwd as Sysdba local login.
5. Remotely execute sqlplus sys/[email PROTECTED]/ORCL as SYSDBA login.
