Reduce disk IO
IO for distributed disks
1, the table space using local management, the file spread to different devices
1 separate the data file from the log file
2 Reduce server-independent disk IO
3 Evaluate the use of bare equipment
4) partition Table data
2, the use of table space
System tablespace reserved for data dictionary objects
Create a local management table space to avoid space management issues
To scatter tables and indexes into separate table spaces
Using a separate rollback table space
Save large database objects in their own separate table spaces
Create one or more independent temporary tablespaces
The following database objects should have a separate table space:
Data dictionaries, rollback segments, indexes, temporary segments, tables, large objects
3. Check IO statistic data
Select Phyrds,phywrts,d.name from V$datafile d,v$filestat F where f.file#=d.file# order by D.name;
Check for files that are most likely to cause disk IO bottlenecks.
4. Split file
Can be done through RAID and manual
ALTER TABLE table_name ALLOCATE extent (datafile ' fiile_name ' size 10M);
But manual operation is very heavy.
