Oracle will release 78 patches to fix database and other product Vulnerabilities

According to foreign media reports, a statement released by the Oracle website this week said that Oracle will release 78 security patches next Tuesday to fix security vulnerabilities in its databases, middleware software, and applications.

Oracle said 27 patches were used to fix security vulnerabilities in the MySQL database. One of the security vulnerabilities can be exploited on the network without the need to log on to the certificate. According to the common security vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) database, the highest level of MySQL database security vulnerabilities is 5.5, which is a medium risk level.

The other two patches fix security vulnerabilities in Oracle Data. Oracle also plans to release 11 patches for Fusion middleware software. Five security vulnerabilities can be remotely exploited without user identification.

In terms of applications, Oracle E-commerce software package will receive three security patches. The supply chain application package will receive one security patch. Renke software received six patches. The JD Edwards software has 8 patches.

About 17 security patches are related to Sun products, including 6 security vulnerabilities that can be remotely exploited without certificates. Affected products include the GlassFish Enterprise Server and Solaris OS.

The other three patches are used for the virtualization technology of Oracle, including VirtualBox.
