If you only want to build a website, the above environment is sufficient. In most cases, we need to open multiple independent websites. For example, separating a forum from a home page and sharing a server with friends. In this case, the VM is used.
The following describes how to use the PHPnow VM. Very simple.
Double-click execute D: \ PHPnow \ PnCp. cmd (your installation path may not be D: \ PHPnow), enter 2, and press enter.
Follow the prompts to enter new VM information. See figure 5.
Figure 5: opening a VM
After you enter the information and press enter, Apache will be automatically restarted to take effect.
Then visit the added domain name. Note that the domain name points to your server IP address in advance.
If you do not have a domain name or do not use it, you can use "virtual domain name" by editing C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts ".
In this example, bbs.test.com is implemented by adding a line "127.0.0.1 bbs.test.com" in the next line of "127.0.0.1 localhost.
Figure 6: VM opened successfully
You may also need to allocate a MySQL database to each VM. The following describes how to use phpmyadmin to allocate users and databases.
Open? Http: // 127.1/phpMyAdmin; use root to log on.
Click "permission" and then "add new user ".
Enter the new user name and password;
Select the second item "Create database with same name and grant all privileges ".
Keep others by default. you must note that you do not select global permissions unless necessary.
Click [execute. Let's look at the figure.
