1. Install the ODBC driver of MYSQL

Connector/ODBC 5.1.10:

Http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/5.1.html

Select the windows-32 MIS installation package and install it directly.

2. Configure the OBDC driver connection

Choose Control Panel> all control panel items> management tools

3. Open PowerDesigner:

1) file-> New Model

2) database-> connect to a Data Source

Enter the information to connect to the database

4) Start reverse generation

After confirmation, wait for the generation.

Note: I used Windows 7, which is the same for XP. PowerDesigner is version 15.1.
