Print frequently used letters and envelopes in Linux

Tube Internet has been very popular, e-Mail has become a daily essential quick communication tools, but in the day-to-day office still without the traditional letter, the exchange of documents. As a result, many office software built templates such as stationery and envelopes that users can use to quickly create letters and envelopes. Office suites in Linux, such as OpenOffice, RedOffice, and StarOffice, also have a large number of letters and envelope templates built into them, but there are no commonly used stationery style templates. After using the 2007 beta version of Office, I found that using this Office word processing makes it easy to make stationery-style letters and envelopes.

Installation

1. Extract Bao Yongzhon Office installation files

Start the Virtual Console and unzip the package using the following command:

[root@localhost root]#cd Download　(假设Download目录为下载文件目录)
[root@localhost Download]#mv eioffice2003_for_linux.tar.gz /tmp
[root@localhost Download]#cd　/tmp
[root@localhost tmp]#tar zxvf　eioffice2003_for_linux.tar.gz

After you execute the above command, you will be able to install the installation directory for the permanent office in the TMP directory.

2. Install permanent Office 2007 Beta version

[root@localhost tmp]#cd eioffice2003
[root@localhost eioffice2003]#./setup

After you run the above command, you will see the Graphical Installation wizard interface, just a moment. After the installation wizard has been uncompressed, the installer checks to see if the system installs a Java virtual machine. If you do not install the Java Virtual Machine Setup Wizard dialog box appears, you can install the Java Virtual Machine by clicking the OK button. After the virtual machine is installed, the OFFICE2003 Installation Wizard will reappear, start the formal installation, and choose "Next" to complete the installation successfully.

When you select a program's installation path, the default is "/usr/local/eio", where you can set the specified installation path. In the Setup Type Setup dialog box, it is best to select the "Run Eio on System startup", "Open doc, xls, PPT file with permanent office" and "save to the following specified location" three items. Select the first item to be able to quickly start any of the functional modules in permanent office; Selecting the second item provides a more convenient way to open Microsoft Office documents using wing-China office; Select the third item to add double insurance to the document you create, and automatically back up the document for easy repair of damaged documents in an emergency.

At the end of the installation, you can see the beautiful icon for the EIO office on your desktop, and the Quick Launch tool will automatically start and display its icon in the system tray, as shown in Figure 1.
