Protects the system by using SVS to wear "layer-by-layer" bullet-proof clothing for Windows.

A variety of software expands the computer's functions, but it also brings some burden to the system. Poor software may cause system crashes. How can we solve the contradiction between trial software and system stability?

Altiris Software Virtualization alization Solution (hereinafter referred to as SVS) is a good tool to solve such problems. It is like putting a bullet bag on the system. It is responsible for all changes made to the system by the software, and the system itself will not be affected.

SVS uses the "layer" concept. As long as applications are separately installed in different layers, you can close this layer, open the layer, and delete the layer at any time. SVS can effectively reduce registry junk and hard disk junk files. For any unsecure software, you can create a separate layer to install it. If you are not satisfied, delete the layer, it can also track software changes.

After downloading SVS, decompress and install it. During the online installation process, click "Get it free". The computer will automatically go online to the program homepage. Enter the email address as prompted and click Accpet. The IE download window is displayed. download a free personal KEY. after entering the KEY, install the KEY and restart the computer.

　　Bad software testing

Many software are bundled with rogue plug-ins. If you read the software introduction, you may use SVS for trial. The following uses a trial of "PC cleanup Wang" as an example. Netizens reported that it had bound multiple rogue software.

Start SVS, click "File> Create new layer", and select "install application" (figure 2 ). Create a new "layer" and install the software in this layer.

Click "Next" and follow the prompts to set the layer name, for example, "PC cleanup King". In the installation of virtual software window, select "Single Program Capture ", click Browse and select the PC cleanup agent (Figure 3 ). Click "Next" again, SVS automatically minimizes to start monitoring the task tray, and begins to install "PC Cleaning King".

After the installation is complete, right-click the SVS icon of the task tray and click "Stop monitoring ". In the Start menu, you can see that PC cleanup king brings multiple rogue plug-ins (figure 4 ). They can be used normally, but they are actually only installed in a layer of SVS.

Figure 4 it is used as the opposite material for each test. The bundle is classic.

Select the "PC cleanup Wang" layer, right-click, and select "deactivate layer". SVS will automatically terminate all programs on this layer. All traces of these software in the system, including the registry value and Desktop shortcuts, will disappear.

Right-click "Edit Advanced Layer Properties" in the menu, and the edit Layer window is displayed. Click the "Files" tab. Expand "specific user> specified user code> DESKTOP (DESKTOP)" in sequence )", here we can see the consequences of installing "PC cleanup King" (figure 5 ).

If you want to completely delete this pile of "rogue", select the "PC clear king" layer in the SVS window, and deselect the activation layer in the right-click menu, then select "delete layer" to completely delete it without leaving any trace on the system.

In the future, we will test the software in SVS before installing it. If there is no exception, we will perform the formal installation.

Tip: none of the software that needs to install a driver in the system or start the service with the system can be installed in the Virtual Layer, such as AutoCAD 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, Alcohol 120% and other virtual optical drive software, KAV and other anti-virus software.

Through the concept of layer, SVS encapsulates all parameters (software settings, registry values, shortcuts, etc.) of the application software in the layer, and can export and package layers. If you cannot find the installation file of a software at the moment, you can use SVS to easily transplant it. The following uses the porting of storm audio and video as an example.

Start SVS, click "File> Create new layer", and select "install application ". Install storm audio and video, select the export layer in the "Storm audio and video" layer in the SVS window, and export the new layer as bfyy. vsa to the flash disk (figure 6 ).

Install and start SVS on another computer, click "File> import from archive file", and follow the prompts to import the bfyy on the flash drive. vsa. After the import is successful, activate this layer to use storm video.

If you are using common software, you can select "auto start layer" in the right-click menu in figure 5, so that the software will be automatically started when SVS is run. If you cancel this activation layer, others will not be able to use storm videos, and we will not find that we have installed storm videos on our computers.

In fact, SVS can be seen as a "intermediary" between software and operating systems. SVS associates or isolates software and systems through layers, greatly reducing the impact of software installation on the system.
