This tutorial is intended to share with my friends the PS path to create a realistic lightning effect method. the lightning effect produced by the tutorial is extremely lifelike and difficult. we recommend that you come and learn it together.

Using Photoshop filters to make lightning is fast, but the effect is not very real. This PS tutorial describes how to create a path. before making a video, you can refer to some lightning pictures. then, you can split the main lightning and the branches to draw lines. later, you can add extra light and other enhancement effects as needed. The following small series will use the path for PS to create a realistic lightning effect method. let's take a look!

The procedure is as follows:

1. open the night scene picture material of any city. I am using the night bridge landscape picture.

2. copy a layer: change the mode to overlay (to make the background darker and highlight the lightning light ).

3. draw the following path with a pen (I can't draw it with my pen) and be patient.

4. select the brightest lightning path.

5. open the paint board in F5 and set the parameters as follows.

6. stroke path.

7. add a bit of luminous effect to achieve the real effect.
