Recently need to make a report program, need to combine with Excel, so chose a PHP processing Excel library, the name is Phpexcel.
However, Phpexcel is always prone to memory errors and memory problems are serious. I just imported a 2M file and consumed 40M of memory.
When I write this data back to Excel, it takes up more, close to 300M of memory.
So in the online search, there is said to modify its files, plus the release of memory code. But not very effective.
Later, I looked for a way to set up the cache, but it didn't work.
Later I was going to write to excel in sections, but I didn't see how to append it, and each time the default was overwrite.
Who has the phpexcel approach to handling high memory usage? Or a method for writing a segmented write to an Excel file. In short, as long as less memory is not very good.
