4.1 Accton: Turn process statistics on or off
Function: Accton command to open process statistics, or close process statistics if no arguments are taken.
Usage: Accton [-v |--version] [h |--help] [filename]
The main options are as follows.
--v,--Version: Displays the AC version and exits.
--h,--Help: Print a summary of commands and display the system default Accton file.
Description: Acct is a toolkit that contains tools for statistics on user connection time, process execution, and so on. It can record user login information. User-executed procedures, program execution information, etc. It contains some of the following commands.
-AC: Brief information on the login account.
-accton: Turn on or off the process account logging feature.
-last: Displays the user who has logged on.
-lastcomm: Displays the commands that have been executed.
-SA: Summary of process account record information.
-dump-utmp: Output utmp file contents.
-DUMP-ACCT: Output Acct or PACCT file contents.

Starting process statistics in a Linux system use the Accton command, which must be run as root. The form of the Accton command for Accton File,file must exist beforehand. Create the Pacct file using the Touch command first:
#touch/var/log/pacct
And then run:
# ACCTON/VAR/LOG/PACCT
Once the Accton is activated, you can use the Lastcomm command to monitor any command that is executed at any time in the system. To turn off statistics, you can use the Accton command with no parameters:
