After an afternoon, I finally did a few demos out, and below I'll say my experience of the fluency of OpenGL under React-native.
The test machine I used was the nut cell phone, the configuration is still available, the current mainstream configuration, and then I bought a few years ago Lenovo A820t, a 1G running memory of the four-core mobile phone, Genymotion Simulator and iOS simulator.
For the previous three simple animation effects, all the test machine, the operation experience is very smooth.
Finally a relatively complex animation, I compared a bit, the NUT mobile phone runs very smooth, Android simulator is very smooth, iOS simulator special card, Lenovo phone directly hung off the run. So you can see that react-native for animation and games is still a lack of. However, for simple animations, SVG or OpenGL can be very well supported.
