This RHEL 6.6 Beta version brings enhanced security and stability, enhanced system performance, and improved system management experience. The following is a new feature list:
The upgraded RHEL 6.6 will support out-of-the-box RHEL 6.6 Beta, which will provide better interoperability and Microsoft activity directories.
Fully supports Server Load balancer technology Haproxy and keepalived. This gives great confidence to users who deploy HAProxy and keepalived in critical task environments.
RHEL 6.6 Beta inherits some of the first features introduced in RHEL 7 released in June, the most prominent of which is Performance Co-Pilot (PCP ). PCP is a set of tools for obtaining, storing, and analyzing system-level performance measurements for services and databases. PCP is a lightweight, distributed architecture that is suitable for centralized analysis of complex systems.
Has a new socket wheel to reduce network latency and jitter.
Its kernel lock improvement allows you to increase CPU usage for large systems and supports an additional 40 GBe network adapter.
RHEL 6.6 Beta also provides RHEL 6.x users with support for remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) aggregate Ethernet (RoCE), resulting in low-latency and high-bandwidth network connections.
This version also includes more support for running RHEL for so-called virtual users, encryption support for user application security, and storage performance improvement.
