This version is a by-product of Webmail development based on Linux. During the installation and debugging of the Linux server, we found that it was very troublesome to use three CDs for installation. XWindow is useless to the server. We need to change the disk frequently during the installation process, and some packages, such as Mysql database, are not installed by default during RedHat installation. Therefore, we have customized this CD for Server Installation. It contains all the basic RedHat9 server software packages except for the software packages involving Xwindow. You can easily install a Linux server with only one CD.
　　
Modification items:
1. Added an auto start option. After the disc is started, you can simply enter the auto return key to automatically install a server within 15 minutes.
Configuration changes:
A. Added Zend optimizer support to directly use Zend-encrypted PHP. I would like to have a lot of friends who want to use encrypted PHP;
B. A maximum of four network adapters are supported. the IP address of the first network adapter is 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0. The Gateway is not set. If you use adsl to access the Internet, you need to execute adsl-setup to set adsl virtual dialing, nic parameters do not need to be changed; if you use a leased line, there is a static IP, Please modify according to the need etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/Under the ifcfg-eth0, ifcfg-eth1 and other files; if you have a domain name, modify parameters such as hostname. If you don't have so many NICs, you can delete files like ifcfg-eth4, ifcfg-eth3 as needed
B. sendmail can be used directly, and debugging is no longer required. You can send emails after adding a simple useradd user to the system, you can use software such as OUTLOOK for testing on other machines without authentication. However, by default, emails in any domain will be forwarded. Please make adjustments by yourself. Otherwise, emails may be sent by other people on the Internet. Of course, if you want to send emails, you should leave it alone;
C. Added the webmin software package. You can access http: // 192.168.0.1: 10000 in a browser on other machines on the same network.
In the login window, enter the username: root and password: linuxtt.com to manage the server. Webmin is a web interface server management software. Through webmin, you can set a large number of configurations such as DNS, HTTP, FTP, mail, and SMB. d. Added autofsck. If your server is not properly powered off or shut down, the system will automatically scan the disk after the next startup to ensure that no file is damaged. You can safely leave the server in the corner.

Other Instructions:
A. Warning: the auto mode is only applicable to the installation of new servers. It will delete all the original partitions and data on the hard disk. If you are not sure you want to do so, press enter to manually install it;
B. in auto mode, delete all the original partitions on the hard disk, create a 100 mb boot partition, a 400 mb swap partition, and use all the remaining space for the root partition, if you are not sure you want to do this, you can press enter to manually install it;
C. During installation, press enter to manually install the redhat9 or use other installation modes. We strongly recommend that you select "all" when selecting a software package, and install all the packages about 670 mb. Otherwise, redhat will save some packages by default, such as mysql php support.
D. the default language support for the server has been set to Chinese. If you operate in front of the server, some programs may display garbled characters, however, putty is used on windows machines in the Chinese version to display normal Chinese characters.
