Resetting the root password in Linux

1. Press Enter when the following screen appears during system startup to go to the system settings page:

3. Press the e key to enter:

4. Select the second item and press the e key to enter

5. Enter single between ro and root to enter the system in single user mode:

6. After editing, press the Enter key and the following screen is returned:

7. Press key B to start the system and enter the single-user mode, as shown below:

8. Enter passwd to reset the root password:

9. Enter the reboot command to enter the system with the password you just set.

Reset the Root password. OK!
