Set mouse sensitivity in Ubuntu
I recently used the Ubuntu system. This mouse is always uncomfortable and the speed is not easy to adjust. Open the Ubuntu system settings, the mouse option is like this, there is no speed adjustment.
Open the terminal and enter the command: xinput -- set-prop to view the device connected to the computer. My Mouse is 2.4G Mouse.
Input command: xinput -- set-prop "pointer: 2.4G Mouse" "Device Accel Constant Deceleration" 1.7
As for the value, you can try it on different computers. Set it to around 1.7 on my computer. You can also specify the number of writes at will, which can be modified later on the panel.
After the command is input, the mouse speed should change. However, it becomes invalid again after restart.
What should we do?
Set the startup Item file.
Enter the command: vi/etc/profile. d/mouse. sh // create a shell file named mouse in the/etc/profile. d folder.
Enter the vi editor and enter the following two lines of commands (I don't know why, but the second line does not work, so I only enter the first line)
Esc, shift + z twice, save the mouse. sh file, exit,
Reboot.
After the instance is started, check the mouse settings panel again, as shown in. You can adjust the mouse speed.
However, there are too few options for this effect. If you have other options, please add them. Let me learn more!
