Significance of Linux/proc

/proc is a virtual file system, that is, the modification will be reinitialized after the reboot

currently, many system gadgets are called files in/proc.
example:
uname ==>/ proc/version
PS top ==>/ proc/
vmstat free ==>/proc/meminfo/proc /SWAPs

Ifconfig netstat ==>/proc/Net
