So easy! Oracle installation Configuration series six on Linux

In the previous few, we installed the Oracle database software, created a database configuration monitoring, this is the last article of this system, Oracle Enterprise Manager creation.

When you have completed all of the above steps, use

$emctl Start Dbconsole

Starting Oracle Enterprise Manager, the following error occurs, prompting that the ORACLE_UNQNAME environment variable is not set

[Email protected] ~]$ emctl start dbconsole

Now that you're prompted, import the Oracle_unqname environment variable in the Oracle user's. Bash_profile, and then start Oracle Enterprise Manager

$ echo "Export ORACLE_UNQNAME=ORCL" >>. Bash_profile && source. bash_profile
$ echo $ORACLE _unqname
Orcl
$ emctl Start Dbconsole

Prompt for the following error

Oc4j Configuration issue. /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/oc4j/j2ee/oc4j_dbconsole_oracle. STUDY_ORCL not found.

Of course there is no way to start, because we are manually created database, if you are creating a database during installation or using DBCA to create a database Oracle Setup automatically creates Oracle Enterprise Manager

The management repository is placed in safe mode, in which Enterprise Manager data is encrypted. The encryption key has been placed in the file/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/oracle. The Study_orcl/sysman/config/emkey.ora. Be sure to back up this file, because if this file is lost, the encrypted data will not be available.

In the end, the Oracle documentation says that there is no static registration listener configured, and EM will not be able to be used. There's no testing here.
