Solution for logon failure of sa after SQL Server installation

Forgot the sa logon password for Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

Solution: Use windows Authentication to log in, and then right-click 'sa '-'properties' in 'security'-'logins'. Change the password and click confirm.

If not

1. Enter in windows authentication mode
2. Right-click your instance and choose Properties> Security: Set the server authentication mode to SQLSERVER and WINDOWS.
3. Select instance-> Security-> login name: Right-click sa property-> Status: select start and authorize
4. Open the SQL server Configuration Manager, find the network configuration of SQL SERVER, click the protocol starting with the instance name, and set the TCP/IP protocol and the Named Pipes protocol to enabled. Select the SQL SERVER service and set all the services to auto start. And then start it up.

Restart SQLSERVER2005 and the SA will be able to log on.
