In Fedora 17, the Chinese font is displayed as a dot matrix. Why is the Chinese font in Fedora 16 being 文. After Fedora 17, the Chinese font changed from WenQuanYi Zen Hei to WenQuanYi Zen Hei Sharp. The special character of this new font is that the Chinese font at or below 12 lbs will be displayed as a dot matrix font. A font larger than 12 lbs is displayed as a vector font.
On the current display, at least on the Big D display, small characters are clearly displayed in the vector font.
Therefore, you must disable the font display as a dot matrix font.
There are two methods:
1. Install gnome-tweak-tool to modify the default font
Sudo yum install gnome-tweak-tool
After installation, modify it on the Fonts tab.
Ii. Direct disabling
Zenheiset aa
Log out and log on again to restore the Chinese display of FC16.
Zenheiset has three options. According to wenquanyi zhenghei 0.8.38 (pangu), "zenheiset aa" will disable embedded lattice; "zenheiset bitmap" will enable all embedded lattice, except for the 13-pound lattice words that are still in the experiment stage, "zenheiset bitmapfull" enables all embedded lattice words. However, on my computer, "zenheiset bitmapfull" and "zenheiset bitmap" have the same effect. Dot Matrix is enabled only when the font size is 12 lbs or less. Therefore, when you want to re-enable the dot matrix, enter the corresponding command.
