Today, we recommend a music player named Qmmp, which supports lossless CUE in Linux. It is a player written in Qt, it has a very similar operation interface to winamp and xmms. Currently, the latest version is 0.76.
In my opinion, the biggest advantage of Qmmp is that it can support CUE files, so that it is easy to play the whole track without loss. In addition, the main features I have seen are:
- Supports Wiamp series skin (skin replacement is not easy to watch)
- Supports sending song records to Last. fm (I also value this function, but many Linux players support Last. fm)
- Support for bs2b sound effects (I have been using this sound in foobar, which is said to be able to protect my hearing and sound comfortable)
From the process I used, Qmmp can perfectly support the English song CUE file in my computer. This CUE support capability can already meet my requirements.
Apart from the advantages, I feel that Qmmp is much different from the powerful foobar2000, for example, I cannot modify ID3 information in batches or obtain freedb labels. Besides, I don't know why. My Qmmp can't play the AAC file at all, even though I have met all the Dependencies it requires.
To sum up, we recommend that you try this player for all Ubuntu users who love to listen to it, because its CUE support capability is the best in the linux player I have found.
Qmmp supports audio and some video players. Developed based on the Qt library, the player has a very similar operation interface with winamp and xmms. The biggest advantage of Qmmp is the ability to support CUE files, so that you can easily play the whole track without loss.
Sound Quality: the sound quality of Audiaciou is better than that of other products, while the quality of Qmmp is no inferior to that of Audiaciou.
I just tried it out, and the results are quite good. There are all kinds of functions and the interface supports Chinese (although some of them are not completely Chinese). At the same time, the software also has many plug-ins, supports stereo output and lyrics search. (English songs can be displayed very well. For solutions to Chinese Garbled text, see the end of this Article ).
Tip: for unknown reasons, there may sometimes be gaps between the main interface and the player list interface on the balancer interface, but this does not affect the actual use.

Ubuntu has a very large beginner encoding problem, but it is very easy to solve in Qmmp.
Note that the selected encoding format is based on the music file. You may not be able to display it after you change the encoding format. Therefore, we recommend that you unify ID3 tag and cue into a specific encoding, the province is exchanged.
1. The Chinese songs in the Qmmp 'playlist are displayed as "-", that is, the title and artist of the Song cannot be displayed, and the ID3 Chinese tags of mp3 are displayed as garbled characters.
Solution: Choose "Settings"> "plug-in"> "MPEG plug-in"> "parameter settings"> "ID3v1" as the first option of "label priority", "GB18030" as the ID3v1 encoding, and "GB18030 ()" as the ID3v2 encoding ()
Check that Chinese characters are no longer garbled.
In Settings> playlist> title format, you can set display parameters according to your preferences.
2. cue garbled characters in Qmmp 'playlist
Solution: Set --> plug-in --> CUE plug-in --> parameter settings --> select GB18030 as the default encoding.
