In addition to viewing view, stored procedures, and so on in SSMs, you can also use the following statement to query directly:

Sp_helptext ' Sys.tables '

SELECT * from Sys.system_sql_modules whereobject_id = object_id (' sys.tables ')

Applies to the following object types:
· C = Check Constraint
· D = default value (constraint or standalone)
· P = SQL Stored Procedure
· FN = SQL scalar function
· R = Rule
· RF = Replication Filter Procedure
· TR = SQL Trigger (Schema-scoped DML trigger, or database or server-scoped DDL trigger)
· IF = SQL Inline Table-valued function
· TF = SQL Table-valued function
· V = view
