The previous article has been prepared for the configuration of the mirrored database, and the next step is to enter the real configuration phase

First, set security on the mirror database server and start the database mirroring session

1, expand the database, select Virtualmanagerdb, right-click Select Task-Mirror

2, click Configure security, select is, including the witness server

3, remove the witness server, the future configuration

4, set the principal server, fill in the end name called Site1

5, add mirror server, take the end named Site2

6, the designated service account for the Domain Administrator account (can be configured in advance in the domain)

7, create success, click Off

8, pop-up dialog box, choose not to start mirroring

9, select the high-performance mode of operation mode, click Start Mirror, view the status show has been synchronized

10, after the synchronization is completed, the following display

Now that the mirror is configured, you start testing failover

Second, manual failover test

1, the main database right click--Task--mirror

Change run mode to High Security (no manual failover in high availability mode)

Click on the right failover, prompt to disconnect all links to the principal database

1, click Yes, start to restore to the mirror database, the following image is performing the mirroring process

4, at this time the display mirror is nearly complete, the main database was transferred to the original mirror database HYTEST02. The entire process is completed in 1 seconds.
