SQL Server Chinese Encoding Problems

Source: Internet
Author: User
Problem description: When executing an SQL query statement, if the query condition contains Chinese characters, for example, select * from user where name = 'zhang san', no results can be found at this time, which is caused by garbled characters.
Solution: the default database sorting rule is SQL _latin1_general_cp1_ci_as. This is the cause of garbled characters and is set to chinese_prc_ci_as. Set the method, right-click the database, attributes, options, and sorting rules, and select from the drop-down list.
Note that all connections to the database must be closed during setup. Otherwise, "deadlock" or "exclusive lock" may occur. Once a problem occurs when you set the sorting rules, restart the database server.
