Initial catalog = northwind; Data Source = localhost; connection timeout = 30; user id = myuser; Password = password; min pool size = 20; Max pool size = 200; incr pool size = 10; decr pool size = 5;
When the window Authentication mode is used, a connection pool is created for each window user. When the SQL Server Authentication mode is used, the system maintains only one connection pool as long as the connection string is the same, therefore, when using the SQL Server Identity Authentication mode, performance is better.
Connection lifetime
0
When the database connection is returned to the connection pool, its creation time will be compared with the current time. If it exceeds the time specified by connection lifetime, it will be released.
If the value is 0, it is considered as the maximum connection time.
Enlist
'True'
When this value is true, all existing database connections in the pool will be added to the transaction context of its creation thread. If the transaction context does not exist, no changes are made.
Max pool size
100
The maximum number of database connections that can be established in the connection pool.
Min pool size
0
The minimum number of database connections to be maintained in the connection pool.
Pooling
'True'
When set to true, the database connection is managed by the corresponding connection pool.
